That special crunch comes from a light flavored brittle made from butter, caramel sugar, and nuts toasted right off the trees of our growers. Our favorite nuts include hazelnuts, pecans, cashews, pistachios, walnuts, almonds, and sometimes even pine nuts.
Our granola is made from old fashioned oats which are combined with wheat germ and poppy seed for a unique taste. Rolled in butter and clover honey, baked to a crunch, then crumbled into chunks, our granola graces our nutless wonder biscotti and occasionally makes its way into other flavors as well.
That mouthwatering flavor of our berries starts in California where the fruits are grown, and sun dried to perfection. Prior to baking, we hydrate them for several hours using our very own flavor enhancing sauces. We particularly love strawberries matched with almonds, raspberries with hazelnuts, cherries with pistachios, and chocolate with just about anything. And our specially themed biscotti use cranberries, blueberries, white chocolate, raisins, and every now and again, even a pineapple.
During the year we will occasionally feature a special citrus biscotti. Our specially processed lemon peel joins up with toasted pine nuts that give our lemon crunch biscotti an incredible sweet tart tang. And orange peel is coupled with bittersweet chocolate for a heavenly treat. Finally as a May Day favorite, we take a cashew vanilla biscotti and dip it into a tangy lime icing.
